THD Harmonic Calendar Overview
Watch the overview first, then use the tables below as the operating manual for interpreting nested phase alignments, real-world conditions, and personal actions.
Quick Orientation
The THD Harmonic Calendar is a behavioral timing overlay. It does not replace the Gregorian calendar and it does not predict a specific event. It shows which THD phase is active across several nested time scales and helps you decide what kinds of actions are more or less aligned with that timing environment.
| Phase | Short Meaning | Operating Question |
| Emergence | Formation, novelty, opening | What is beginning or trying to take shape? |
| Contrast | Testing, pressure, correction | What is being challenged, compared, or exposed? |
| Integration | Completion, stabilization, consolidation | What is ready to be finished, absorbed, or stabilized? |
Important: The tables below describe what the THD model says you should expect to see more often during each phase. They are timing hypotheses, not guarantees. Use the calendar with observation, context, and ordinary judgment.
How the Nested Harmonics Work
A date does not have only one phase. It sits inside several clocks at the same time. The calendar therefore reads time as a nested structure: the immediate Daily signal exists inside a Weekly environment, a 28-day Monthly block, a Year Sector, and an Annual phase.

| Layer | What It Represents | Practical Use | Current Calculation |
| Annual | The phase assigned to the entire Gregorian year. | Long-horizon background. Useful for asking what kind of broad cycle the year is emphasizing. | 2026 = Emergence, 2027 = Contrast, 2028 = Integration, then repeating every three years. |
| Year Sector | The broad phase inside the 364-day Turtle year. | Major seasonal context lasting roughly four months. | March 20–July 18 Emergence; July 19–November 16 Contrast; November 17–March 18 Integration. |
| Monthly | The active 28-day harmonic block. | Medium-range pacing for projects, habits, review cycles, and completion windows. | Successive 28-day blocks repeat Emergence → Contrast → Integration. |
| Weekly | The dominant Daily phase across the next seven calendar dates. | Short-range continuity. Best used as confirmation of the immediate environment. | The most common Daily phase wins; a tie is Mixed. Collective skip days are ignored. |
| Daily | The immediate phase for the selected date. | The first signal to read when deciding what to emphasize today. | Cycle days 1–9 Emergence, 10–18 Contrast, 19–28 Integration. |
Think of the calendar as several transparent layers placed over the same date. The 5-Phase Alignment score counts the largest group of layers that share the same THD phase, regardless of whether that phase matches Daily. A 5/5 alignment means the same phase appears at every collective scale. A mixed date means different time scales are emphasizing different functions. Mixed dates are normal.
What to Expect in Reality and How to Act
| Phase | Structural Meaning | What You May See in Reality | What You May Notice Personally | Good Actions | Use Caution / Avoid |
| Emergence |
A new state, signal, direction, relationship, project, or possibility is forming. |
Launches, announcements, discoveries, new initiatives, first attempts, new information entering a system, experimentation, expanding options, early movement before consequences are fully known. |
Curiosity, idea generation, increased motivation, attraction toward something new, greater tolerance for ambiguity, desire to begin. |
Start, research, brainstorm, prototype, explore alternatives, make introductions, reach out, test small ideas, make reversible early commitments. |
Do not force premature certainty, over-prune options, commit too much too early, or assume every new possibility deserves long-term investment. |
| Contrast |
An existing or emerging structure encounters resistance, limits, contradiction, competition, or correction. |
Disagreement, scrutiny, negotiations, failures becoming visible, plans meeting real-world limits, volatility, legal or regulatory pressure, criticism, competing alternatives, exposed weak points. |
Stronger flaw detection, analytical intensity, frustration, clearer awareness of what does not work, pressure to compare or decide, heightened boundary awareness. |
Test, compare, audit, edit, negotiate, challenge assumptions, stress-test, prune weak options, correct errors, establish boundaries, gather contrary evidence. |
Do not interpret all resistance as failure, escalate conflict unnecessarily, abandon sound work before the test is complete, or make reactive decisions simply to escape pressure. |
| Integration |
Prior activity is resolving, consolidating, stabilizing, completing, or being absorbed into a usable form. |
Settlements, agreements, completed projects, stabilization after disruption, implementation replacing debate, documentation, recovery, consolidation, closure, reduced option count with greater clarity. |
Desire for completion, simplification, order, emotional settling, reflection, lower appetite for novelty, need for recovery or rest. |
Finish, publish, implement, document, organize, consolidate, close loops, archive lessons, recover, rest, prepare the next cycle. |
Do not fill every newly opened space with new commitments, keep obsolete options alive, extend analysis indefinitely, or ignore the need for recovery and closure. |
EmergenceCreate possibilities. Do not demand that every possibility survive.
ContrastLet reality show what the structure can withstand. Do not confuse testing with automatic failure.
IntegrationConvert experience into something stable enough to carry forward.
What Strong Alignment Changes
A stronger alignment does not create a different kind of phase. It means more time scales reinforce the same phase. Higher alignment should be interpreted as stronger timing coherence, not necessarily a larger event.
| Collective Score | Operating Meaning | Recommended Posture |
| 5/5 | All five collective scales are in the same THD phase. | Strongest phase-consistent window. Larger or more consequential actions that already make structural sense may receive the clearest timing support. Do not override evidence or context. |
| 4/5 | Four collective scales share the same THD phase. | Strong reinforcement with one dissenting layer. Inspect the differing layer because it identifies the time horizon where conditions are less aligned. |
| 3/5 | Three collective scales share the same THD phase. | A clear majority alignment. Let the identities of the matching layers determine whether support is broad, medium-range, or local. |
| 2/5 | The largest same-phase cluster contains two layers; another two-layer cluster may also be present. | Mixed timing. Keep interpretation limited to the time scales that actually agree and inspect whether the date contains a tied 2–2 split. |
| 1/5 | Not produced by the five-layer calendar under the current three-phase rules. | With five layers and only three THD phases, at least two layers must share a phase; a Weekly Mixed state still leaves four categorical layers. |
What Alignment Scores Normally Look Like
Most dates are not 5/5. Under the frozen calendar rules, one complete three-year Annual cycle contains 1,092 harmonic dates:
| Score | Expected Frequency | Interpretation |
| 5/5 | 38 of 1,092 dates (3.48%) | Rare full convergence. |
| 4/5 | 207 of 1,092 dates (18.96%) | Strong reinforcement. |
| 3/5 | 541 of 1,092 dates (49.54%) | Most common majority alignment. |
| 2/5 | 306 of 1,092 dates (28.02%) | Mixed timing; may include tied phase clusters. |
| 1/5 | 0 of 1,092 dates (0.00%) | Not possible under the current five-layer / three-phase rules. |
Which Matching Layers Matter Most?
The score is the size of the largest same-phase cluster across Annual, Year Sector, Monthly, Weekly, and Daily. It is not anchored to Daily. The table below separately shows how often each broader layer matches Daily, which remains useful for reading macro-to-micro reinforcement. Scale separation and mathematical dependence both matter.
| Combination with Daily | Expected Match Rate | Interpretive Weight | How to Use It |
| Annual + Daily | 33.33% | Highest two-layer priority. | Broadest-to-finest agreement. Use as the clearest macro-to-micro reinforcement. |
| Year Sector + Daily | 38.46% | High priority. | Broad seasonal environment supports the immediate date. |
| Monthly + Daily | 33.24% | Moderate-high priority. | Current 28-day project/habit horizon supports the date. |
| Weekly + Daily | 67.86% | Supportive, least discriminating. | Confirms short-range continuity, but is common because Weekly is computed from nearby Daily phases. |
Recommended Reading Order for Any Date
| Step | Read | Question | Why |
| 1 | Daily | What phase is active now? | The immediate operating signal. |
| 2 | Annual | Does the broadest collective phase agree? | Strongest macro-to-micro confirmation. |
| 3 | Year Sector | Does the Turtle-year season agree? | Adds broad seasonal reinforcement. |
| 4 | Monthly | Does the current 28-day block agree? | Adds medium-range project/habit support. |
| 5 | Weekly | Does the nearby seven-day environment agree? | Confirms short-term continuity. |
| 6 | Alignment Score | What is the largest number of collective scales sharing one THD phase? | Shows the strongest same-phase convergence across the five layers. |
| 7 | Personal Daily | If enabled, what phase are you personally in? | Adds individual timing to the collective environment. |
The Personal Calendar
The collective calendar answers “What phase environment surrounds everyone?” The Personal Calendar answers “What phase environment are you personally moving through?” Personal timing is anchored to date of birth and now mirrors the collective calendar with five layers: Personal Annual, Personal Year Sector, Personal Monthly, Personal Weekly, and Personal Daily.
Personal Annual rule: your date of birth begins Personal Annual Emergence. Each completed 364-day personal harmonic year advances the Annual phase Emergence → Contrast → Integration, then repeats. This is a DOB-anchored harmonic year, not the Gregorian calendar year.
| Personal Internal Alignment | Expected Frequency | Meaning |
| 5/5 | 32 of 1,092 dates (2.93%) | Rare full personal convergence. All five personal layers share one phase. |
| 4/5 | 219 of 1,092 dates (20.05%) | Strong personal reinforcement with one layer differing. |
| 3/5 | 545 of 1,092 dates (49.91%) | Most common clear-majority condition. Three personal layers share one phase. |
| 2/5 | 296 of 1,092 dates (27.11%) | Mixed personal timing. The largest same-phase cluster contains two layers. |
| 1/5 | 0 of 1,092 dates (0.00%) | Not possible under the five-layer / three-phase personal calendar. |
| 0/5 | 0 of 1,092 dates (0.00%) | Not possible for Personal Alignment. A 0/5 value is possible only for the separate Collective Match metric. |
| Personal Combination with Daily | Expected Match Rate | Use |
| Personal Annual + Personal Daily | 33.33% | Highest scale-separation priority. The broadest DOB-anchored personal background agrees with the immediate personal date. |
| Personal Year Sector + Personal Daily | 38.46% | High priority. The broad personal sector agrees with the immediate personal date. |
| Personal Monthly + Personal Daily | 33.33% | Useful for medium-range pacing of projects, habits, creative work, review, and completion. |
| Personal Weekly + Personal Daily | 67.86% | Useful for short-term continuity, but common because Weekly is derived from nearby Daily phases. |
Personal Actions by Phase
| Personal Phase | Emphasize | Do | Do Not Overdo |
| Emergence | Starting and shaping | Generate ideas, initiate, meet people, explore, prototype, begin habits, make reversible starts. | Do not open too many fronts, confuse excitement with commitment, or demand a finished answer too early. |
| Contrast | Testing and refining | Review your decisions, compare options, establish boundaries, correct, negotiate, revisit assumptions, have necessary difficult conversations. | Do not manufacture conflict, make reactive exits, or abandon a good structure merely because it is being tested. |
| Integration | Finishing and absorbing | Finish, simplify, recover, organize, close commitments, document lessons, rest, prepare for the next cycle. | Do not immediately refill all available capacity with new commitments or resist closure because novelty feels more exciting. |
Personal Daily vs. Collective Daily: The 3 × 3 Matrix
When your Personal Daily phase differs from the Collective Daily phase, do not force them to agree. Use the relationship itself as the planning information.
| Personal \ Collective | Collective Emergence | Collective Contrast | Collective Integration |
| Personal Emergence | Strong initiation environment. Begin, connect, prototype. Watch overcommitment. | Create internally; expect external testing. Prototype and gather evidence before exposing fragile work. | Start quietly while the environment closes loops. Protect new ideas while finishing shared obligations. |
| Personal Contrast | Evaluate what is emerging. Use discernment without becoming the person who blocks novelty merely because you see flaws. | Strong testing environment. Excellent for audits, corrections, negotiations, and boundaries; poor for unnecessary confrontation. | Correct what must be corrected so closure can occur. Avoid endless revision that prevents completion. |
| Personal Integration | Protect completion while the outside pushes novelty. Adopt only what matters; do not let external excitement interrupt needed recovery. | Reduce unnecessary exposure to friction. Repair, stabilize, choose battles carefully, and maintain boundaries. | Strong completion environment. Finish, document, recover, consolidate, and release. |
Collective Match vs. Personal Internal Alignment
| Measure | Question It Answers | How to Read It |
| Personal Internal Alignment | What is the largest number of your five personal layers sharing one THD phase? | Uses the same largest-cluster rule as collective alignment. 5/5 is full convergence; 4/5 is strong reinforcement; 3/5 is a clear majority; 2/5 is mixed. With five layers and three THD phases, 0/5 and 1/5 are impossible. |
| Collective Match | How many personal layers match the corresponding collective layers? | This is separate from Personal Internal Alignment. It can legitimately range from 0/5 to 5/5 because it compares five positional pairs rather than convergence among your personal phases. On a collective skip day it is unavailable. |
| Collective Match | What to Expect | How to Use It |
| 5/5 | Personal Annual, Year Sector, Monthly, Weekly, and Daily all match the collective calendar. | Strong synchronization. Personal timing and surrounding timing reinforce one another across all five shared scales. |
| 4/5 | Four personal layers agree with the collective environment. | Identify the one mismatched scale; it tells you where the timing divergence sits. |
| 3/5 | A majority of personal layers agree with the collective environment. | Use the matching-layer identities to determine whether synchronization is broad, medium-range, or local. |
| 2/5 | Mixed personal and collective timing. | Follow Personal Daily for your immediate posture, then note which broader layers support or oppose it. |
| 1/5 | Only one shared scale agrees. | Treat the day as more personally specific than collectively reinforced. |
| 0/5 | No shared personal layer matches the corresponding collective layer. | Do not force alignment. Keep decisions contextual, flexible, and evidence-led. |
What the Phases Look Like Across Real-World Domains
| Domain | Emergence | Contrast | Integration |
| Projects | Kickoff, ideation, requirements, prototypes | Testing, rework, trade-offs, defects, prioritization | Delivery, documentation, handoff, closeout |
| Business | Expansion, new products, hiring, market entry | Competition, margin pressure, regulation, restructuring tests | Consolidation, operating standardization, completed restructuring |
| Relationships | Connection, new conversations, openness | Boundaries, disagreement, negotiation, reality-testing | Resolution, commitment, acceptance, closure |
| Science / Research | Hypothesis, novel observation, new model | Falsification, replication, criticism, competing explanation | Revised model, accepted result, synthesis, documented limits |
| News / Public Systems | Launches, discoveries, announcements, new movements | Confrontation, investigations, volatility, legal pressure, protests, failures | Settlements, agreements, stabilization, recovery, implementation |
| Personal Work | Initiate, explore, generate | Review, correct, decide | Finish, organize, recover |
A Five-Minute Daily Reading Method
| Step | Action | Decision Rule |
| 1 | Read Collective Daily. | Choose the immediate phase posture: begin, test, or finish. |
| 2 | Check Annual. | If Annual matches Daily, mark strong broad-to-immediate reinforcement. |
| 3 | Check Year Sector and Monthly. | Identify whether broad seasonal and medium-range timing support the day. |
| 4 | Use Weekly as confirmation. | Weekly agreement shows local continuity; disagreement means the date may be a transition edge. |
| 5 | Read the alignment score. | Use score for strength, but use the matching-layer identities for meaning. |
| 6 | If enabled, read Personal Daily, then Personal Annual and Personal Year Sector. | Personal Annual gives the broadest DOB-anchored background; Personal Year Sector adds the major personal-season context. |
| 7 | Compare Personal Daily with Collective Daily. | Use the 3 × 3 matrix above when the phases disagree. |
| 8 | Choose one phase-consistent action. | Prefer small, observable, reversible changes until you have tracked the calendar over time. |
Worked Examples
| Example | Layer Stack | Reading | Suggested Use |
| March 20, 2026 | Annual E / Year Sector E / Monthly E / Weekly E / Daily E = 5/5 Emergence | All five collective scales reinforce formation and initiation. | Strong window for beginning work that already has a sound reason to begin. Prototype, introduce, explore, and create options. Avoid treating timing alignment as proof the project itself is good. |
| January 9, 2027 | Annual C / Year Sector I / Monthly C / Weekly I / Daily C = 3/5 Contrast | Daily agrees with Annual and Monthly, so the immediate test/correction phase has both broad annual and medium-range reinforcement even though Year Sector and Weekly differ. | Good for review, audit, correction, negotiation, or stress-testing. The 3/5 score is not weak because the matching layers include Annual + Daily. |
| April 7, 2026 | Annual E / Year Sector E / Monthly E / Weekly I / Daily I = 3/5 Emergence | The largest same-phase cluster is Annual + Year Sector + Monthly in Emergence, while Weekly + Daily form a 2-layer Integration cluster. | Read the score as broader Emergence dominance with a local Integration signal. New or forming work has broader timing support, while immediate tasks may still favor finishing or stabilizing what is directly in front of you. |
| Personal Emergence / Collective Contrast | DOB-specific | You may feel ready to create while the external environment is more testing or resistant. | Develop the new idea internally, use prototypes, gather evidence, and expose it gradually rather than demanding immediate external adoption. |
How to Test the Calendar Yourself
The best way to use THD initially is as a lens before using it as a lever. Observe at least one complete 28-day cycle before making major behavior changes around it.
| Track | Why |
| Date + Collective Daily phase | Creates the basic phase record. |
| Collective alignment score + matching layers | Separates alignment strength from alignment identity. |
| Personal Daily + Personal Annual + Personal Alignment + Collective Match, if enabled | Lets you compare immediate and broad personal timing with collective timing. |
| Planned action | Shows whether the action was phase-consistent or phase-opposed. |
| Observed reality | Records what actually happened rather than what you hoped would happen. |
| Friction rating, e.g. 1–5 | Tests whether phase-aligned planning corresponds with lower operational resistance. |
| Completion / follow-through | Tests whether timing alignment improves execution rather than merely feeling meaningful. |
| Unexpected or contradictory result | Protects against confirmation bias and helps identify where the model may need revision. |
What the Calendar Does Not Mean
| Do Not Assume | Correct Interpretation |
| A 5/5 date guarantees a major event. | 5/5 means the same phase is reinforced across five timing scales. |
| Contrast means something bad must happen. | Contrast means testing, differentiation, pressure, or correction; constructive review is also Contrast. |
| Integration means nothing difficult can happen. | Integration describes consolidation or closure; difficult conditions can still exist. |
| Timing alignment proves a decision is correct. | Timing can support when to act; evidence and judgment still determine whether the action itself makes sense. |
| Your personal phase should override obligations or external facts. | Use personal timing to adjust posture, pacing, and emphasis inside real-world constraints. |
| The calendar causes events. | The calendar is a timing model intended to identify recurring phase structure. |
| A mismatch is a failure. | Mixed timing is normal and often useful because it identifies which scales are asking for different functions. |
Collective Calendar Rules
| Rule | Current Plugin Behavior |

Quick Reference
| Phase | Expect | Do | Avoid |
| Emergence | Beginnings, novelty, expanding options | Start, explore, prototype | Overcommitment, premature closure |
| Contrast | Pressure, testing, exposed flaws | Review, test, correct | Reactive escalation, abandoning too early |
| Integration | Closure, stabilization, consolidation | Finish, organize, recover | Over-initiation, resisting completion |
Default reading order: Daily → Annual → Year Sector → Monthly → Weekly → Alignment Score → Personal Daily → Personal Annual → Personal Year Sector if enabled. Use the score for strength and the identities of the matching layers for meaning.
